TRAS LAS HUELLAS DE SEFARAD

A veces te llegan regalos inesperados. Esas cosas que te hacen pensar y enriquecerte a la vez. Y a mí me llegó este regalo como una tarea más dentro de mi ajetreada vida profesional. El impacto fue tal que, sin quererlo ni beberlo me ví inmersa en un mundo desconocido, fascinante y a la vez místico. Por ello me he propuesto compartirlo; así que mi andadura tras las huellas de Sefarad se ha convertido en un inicio personal, en un camino frente a mí lleno de interrogantes.

TRAS LAS HUELLAS DE SEFARAD.

Sefarad: denominación dada a la tierra que corresponde a la antigua Hispania o Península Ibérica. El uso de este nombre empieza a ser común tras la expulsión de los judíos en 1492.

 Así, los sefardíes son aquellos judíos de raíces hispanas, que sufrieron la expulsión dejando atrás posesiones y lo más importante, raíces profundas que a pesar de su ausencia física han hecho florecer y prosperar una cultura que ha permanecido escondida, o al menos eso pensábamos.

Es probable que la intención sea buena pero que la preparación no lo sea tanto. Así que, con la mayor de las prudencias y respeto me dispongo a relatar lo que para mí, en primera persona, es SEFARAD y lo que he podido descubrir después de un corto viaje en el tiempo buscando unas huellas que están más presentes de lo que imaginamos. Tan sólo hay que saber mirar con ojos libres de prejuicios.

Todo lo que aquí expreso son mis propias opiniones y sensaciones, y lo que he visto y oído.  Aquellos que me leáis y compartáis hacedlo con libertad. Y todos aquellos que queráis participar y expresar opiniones o facilitarme más directrices en esta incursión mía personal, no dejéis de hacerlo.

Sometimes unexpected gifts come to you. Those things that make you think and at the same time enrich you. And came to me this gift as a task in my busy professional life. The impact was such that strong, that now I'm immersed in an unknown, fascinating and at the same time mystical world. That is why I intend sharing it; so my journey on the trail of Sefarad has become a personal discovering, on a road in front of me full of questions.
FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF SEPHARAD.

Sefarad: name given to the land which corresponds to the ancient Hispania Iberian Peninsula. The use of this name started to become common after the expulsion of the Jews in 1492. Thus, the Sefardies  are Jews of Hispanic roots, which suffered the expulsion living behind possessions and most importantly, deep roots that despite his physical absence, made flourish and thrive in a culture that has remained hidden, or the less that we thought.
It is likely that the intention is good but that the preparation is not much. So, with the greatest of the prudence and respect  I want to tell what for me, first person, SEPHARAD means and what I've been able to discover after a short trip in time looking for marks that are more present than we can imagine. You just have to know unprejudiced eyes.
