Seguir las huellas judías en la Península, o lo que es lo mismo continuar tras el rastro de Sefarad, es un viaje que de todas todas nos lleva a Lucena. Esta ciudad cordobesa nos sorprende por su discreción y por su tesoro "oculto". ¡Cuántas veces hemos pasado de camino hacia la capital de la provincia y sólo nos hemos fijado en que la fabricación de muebles de Lucena parece ser su único modus vivendi! ¡Y qué equivocados estábamos!
To follow the Jewish fingerprints in the Peninsula, or what is the same thing to continue after Sefarad's track, is a trip that will take us to Lucena . This city in the province of Cordoba will surprise us for its discretion and for its "secret" exchequer. A lot of times we have driven on the way towards the capital of the province and only we have concentrated that the manufacture of Lucena's furniture seems to be his only one modus vivendi! Su Iglesia principal tiene planta sinagogal y su Museo nos adentra entre otros, en la imprenta judía descubriendo detalles que a nuestros ojos nos pasaría desapercibidos.....Una menorah camuflada y una leyenda que asegura que Noé está enterrado en algún lugar impreciso del casco urbano unido a una deliciosa pastelería que produce dulces de marcada tradición judaica, o el rescate de la producción de menorahs y hanuquias de la mano de sus artesanos......o el trabajo delicado de orfebrería para reproducir símbolos judíos....o incluso un barbero que se autodenomina católico, apostólico y romano....que tiene su lugar de trabajo repleto de elementos de la vida cotidiana, religiosa y mística judía al tiempo que defiende que no pretende cambiar su religión pero asegura que sin el judaísmo ni él ni ningún católico serían nadie.....Chocante, surrealista, apasionante.....

A camouflaged menorah and a legend that assures that Noé is buried in some vague place of the urban area, a delicious pastry shop that produces sweets of marked Judaic tradition, or the rescue of the production of menorahs and hanuquias of the hand of his craftsmen ......
or the delicate work of goldwork to reproduce Jewish symbols .... or even a barber that he's Catholic , apostolic and Roman .... but his of work place is replete with elements of the daily, religious and mystical Jewish life at the time that he defends that it does not try to change his religion but to assure that without the Judaism or he or any Catholic would have any sense of existence.....
